Colorado Strategic Highway Safety Plan 2025

Stolfus updated the State of Colorado’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan (SHSP)The SHSP provides a comprehensive framework for key safety needs and investment decisions aimed at reducing fatalities and serious injuries on public roads for the next five years (2025-2030). Colorado’s SHSP helps deliver Colorado’s future vision of zero deaths and serious injuries so all people using any transportation mode arrive at their destination safely”. The SHSP is a data-driven and interdisciplinary approach to improving safety. Stolfus, along with their project partners at VHBconducted a robust stakeholder engagement and communications effort as part of the plan across the state. The team prepared the 2025 SHSP with supporting crash data analysis, interactive maps, and performance targets. The project also included a one-year Action Plan tobe updated quarterly.
